Comprised of a group of friends from different corners of the Minneapolis music scene, Kids of Comets has been creating music since 2011. Drawing influences from each member's very different style, the group honed their sound and released their independently produced debut effort, "I Think I'll Like it Here."
Performing around the Twin Cities area for the past couple years, KOC has been catching a lot of attention from listeners and fellow musicians alike. They pride themselves on staying true to themselves and writing intelligent music in a music scene full of drab, sameness sellability.
Now working on their sophomore piece, a collection of singles that embody the last two years of work that the band has put forth, the group will record and release these singles throughout the coming months in an effort to allow their music to evolve and change in real time.
