Fusing groove with technical death metal, Xenocide is a 5 piece Cosmic Death Metal band from Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Xenocide's debut album "Galactic Oppression" (2012) has attracted much attention in the metal community at home and abroad. Catchy guitars, fluid bass guitar, intense drum work and a story arc involving multidimensional beings known as the "Deadfall" hell bent on Galactic Control.

Galactic Oppression is also for fans of the Mass Effect game series by Bioware and the Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card.

Xenocide has recently finished recording their latest single for 2012 titled "Xenomorph" and work has already begun on their sophomore album tentatively titled "Echoes from a Distant Star".
