Hailing from Brooklyn, New York , DARLING WASTE has emerged into the indie rock scene with their unique brand of music, which has been featured on MTV, VH1, SHOWTIME and dozens of movie soundtracks. .DARLING WASTE's self released album, I AM BORN, was released in 2009 and featured the singles, CHANGING OF THE SEASONS and THE INSIGNIFICANTS, which have been played in rotation on over 100 radio stations internationally. The band followed up the release of I AM BORN with an international tour including America, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
DARLING WASTE'S new album GOOD AND BAD ANGELS, was released on March 14th on Big Buzz Records in the United Kingdom and Europe, and The 89 Music Group in the United States.
Their first single, WHEN THE BALL DROPS (OR NUA LANG SYN) was released in February on the band's website and the follow up single PLEASE LIE TO ME, is slated for UK and US radio release this summer.
DARLING WASTE has sold over 11,000 copies of their albums and has shared the stage with artists such as BLINK 182, FALL OUT BOY, PANIC AT THE DISCO, SECONDHAND SERENADE, CHIODOS, EMEROSA, DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL, YELLOWCARD, BAYSIDE, AIDEN, KILL HANNAH, SAVES THE DAY, HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS and countless others.
