Falling Astoria are three good friends with a common interest in making music that they like to listen to, spanning influences such as Kids in Glass Houses, Fall Out Boy, Soundgarden, Biffy Clyro and Incubus to name just some of the ingredients that go into the melting pot of their own unique brand of honestly written songs, catchy melodies and flashes of musical inspiration.
The band have been jamming since December 2009, locked up in sweaty practise rooms with inevitably smells of unwashed hairy metal bands and playing fun and energetic shows wherever they can.
The band are aiming to make 2011 a year to remember and want to get their audience involved with growth of the band as much as possible by releasing new material as frequently as possible. Recent support slots with bands such as Cape Fear (who recently supported Feeder) and As We Climb (support for Attack! Attack!) have helped the band get their foot on the circuit with more high profile shows coming throughout the year!
