GONE BY FRIDAY (GBF)

It all started in the late summer of 2009 a ballsy idea from a mentor and a guitar teacher of Peters, Abeer of Landing Project. Billy, after breaking up with his old band Vanderveer Street and losing everyone he once knew needed something to pick him up. Peter and Chris (Peters Twin brother) following Abeers advice decided to put all the past differences they had with Billy aside and ask to form a band.

It wasn't easy at first, difficulties arose, differences needed to be sorted out. In the end, Billy, Peter and Chris realized that there really was nothing wrong between them. That they have grown up past the point of childish games and hate for no reason. Basically. They all dropped the high school bullshit. They then decided to drop everything they knew, and never even speak about the people they once knew. (unlike popular contrary belief) and move completely on, with no hate for anyone and start over. The first song was born, entitled "Smoking Gun" an anthem about moving on, forgetting the past and forgetting old frustrations. After trying out a couple of bassists, the band decided in September 2011 to ask Chris Fio to join the band.

In the 2 years GBF has been together, they have grown closer every second, realizing that they are more than friends, but brothers. After amassing 1500+ downloads and thousands of plays and counting on their first 2 EP's they are ready to drop a full length debut. Their first album, "Noisetank!" (OUT NOW) has 10 songs that includes such crowd favorites like "Smoking Gun", "I Guess it Was Destiny" "Vampire" and "The End of us". "Noisetank!"was be recorded at Killingsworth Studio in September 2010 and was produced by Michael Gaudiello & Anthony Santonocito.

Gone By Friday is dedicated to playing shows with high energy and fun. Their live show is something that should be seen and experienced heard and memorized. The guys love and appreciate all the support they've been getting, from all over the world. They are excited to hit the road as soon as possible to support the release of "Noisetank", so get ready.
