I Lost the Plot (ILTP) is an Alternative Rock band from Sungai Petani, Kedah. They stared in 2007 by both founding members Wish and Haziq. Inspired by bands they grew up listening to, such as Green Day and Good Charlotte the pair decided to start their own band called Grenades in Government School. It started out as a 5 piece pop punk band with Zikri on vocals, both Wish and Haziq on guitars, Haikal on bass and Amir finishing the lineup on drums. After two years of playing music together the band disbanded. Early in the 2009, both Wish and Haziq didn’t stop. Heavily influenced by Escape The Fate they both started the band I Lost the Plot. They wrote and recorded their first track entitled “Now You Know What I Want You To Say” in their home studio. Unfortunately, the track was not released and they went on a hiatus until the end of 2010. After graduating from high school, Wish, Haziq and Zikri got back together and they wrote their first single called "Hi I'm Peter Pants-less, Wanna Go To Never-neverland?" The band members today are Haziq (Vocalist, guitarist & lyricist) Zikri (Bass) and Wish (Composer & drums). After getting back together, the band started to develop a diverse sound incorporating elements of Post-Hardcore, Alternative Rock and Pop. They are much influenced by American bands such as Pierce the Veil, Panic! At The Disco, A Day to Remember, Four Year Strong, Fall Out Boy and Perfect Like Me. On the 16th of June 2011, they released their first single and it all started from there. Now they are currently writing for their upcoming EP and constantly playing shows. The journey has only begun for I Lost the Plot as they try to spread their music all over the country.
