Born and raised in Kenosha, WI, Joe Pettit, is an upcoming artist who is desperately trying to becoming known for the gift he has. He doesn't really have a genre, it's more of a topic. Most of his songs are inspired by his loves and relationships, while some are influenced by life itself, or even family and friends. He has even written some about God. His genre is not important. He wants to find people who enjoy his music.
Joe first starting playing piano when he was 11 years old. His mother says, "I had brought him to work with me and there was a piano. While entertaining himself he started to play the 'wedding march' song." She says he just played it by ear. She immediately got him into piano lessons with his mentor and now good friend, Mike Middleton. Joe then received a guitar during the summer of 2008 and immediately started playing. His piano teacher became his guitar teacher as well, as Mike can play a variety of instruments. Now, in the Fall of 2010, Joe has just finished his first "demo" CD, titled "Just Joe" and plans on recording more. He recorded with his friend and "producer", Aidan Crosberry using GarageBand.
