School friends Aric and Luke went to International Music Camp where they created a friendship with Travis. Aric called Travis months later asking if he wanted to be in a band. Aric, Luke, and Travis spent a weekend recording the "Sneezes and Iced Tea" EP with Scott Heidinger.
The band started writing new material and another band camp friend joined the band. After a couple shows, Steff and the rest of the band hit the studio with Greg Lindholm to record an EP titled "Don't Be Shy."
Aric met Dan through school and asked if he wanted to audition for the band. Dan became the newest member and the band started working on new material immediately. The members of Running on Empty are currently in the studio with Jeremy Tappero(Drummer of The Stereo and Guitar player/singer for Attention and Gratitude working on 6 brand new songs.
