Hey guys, we're Sons of Encouragement. We're a Indie Rock/Alternative Rock band from Northern Ireland. The Name comes from Barnabas in the bible which means Son of encouragement, our drummer spotted it in an R.E. exam and we liked it and decided to use it.

We started off in 2008 playing battle of the bands and stuff and from there moved onto playing some Irish Festivals and playing some of the bigger stages in Northern Ireland.
We've had a break just before Christmas and are currently working on some new material to get out this summer.
