So yesterday i got on my computer...my morning routine.Twitter.Myspace.Unsignedpunk.Reverbnation.Purevolume.YouTube.and lastly Facebook.Oh Facebook.... so im looking over everything and a chat pops up. "Oh hey Friend" i say with an excited expression (finally someone to talk to) i say in my head. and with a quick reply they write " Your song name is kinda stupid....". surprised by the response i write back, "Well see here some people make random names for songs...but my songs are not random they mean something. Every song i write has lyrics of emotion that i put down in a pad of paper with every swift letter my pen writes is apiece of me. why should the song names be any different. To you it is dumb.To me it means a fun night with my lovely girlfriend." Now this is where i tell everyone the beautiful story of my song name "UH OH! Sugar In The Bed" found on my Teaser and My Death of a Teddy video
So after a long night of drinking( and i do not mean Hawaiian punch kids!) me and my girlfriend retired to our resting place...which at this time I'm sure it could have been a hay stack and we wouldn't have complained, but it wasn't.It was a wonderful bed and in it we laid, for about a minute. When Kelsey says " I don't feel good...." So my motherly instincts kicked in and said " you need some toast! With butter!" So to the kitchen we ventured. With the toast cooked, the butter spread, and the pieces cut nicely and on a plate i thought we were done. I was wrong.( Now for a side note: as a man learn to never argue with the girl you love. NEVER not even if there's a fire.) Kelsey goes in to the cupboard and grabs out a bag of sugar...and says " Tom the toast needs sugar! Sugar is so good on toast." as intoxicated as i was i still didn't see this appetizing but since she could barely move the spoon i figured i will do it for her. With toast and water the arsenal of drunk care we retired yet again, to the fortress of solitude. with a movie on, blankets on us and toast the night was winding down until. Kelsey decided to pick her toast up from a corner ignoring the fact loose sugar crystals were embedded in every nook the bread possessed. My ass covered in sugar, the bed had sugar everywhere. As I'm shaking the sheets to get it off she looks down and says..."Uh OH! Sugar in the bed."
The story of my song names are all something that i want to remember.Something i want you to say "WTF?" or "How do you come up with this stuff?" So say it's dumb. Maybe to you it is, but to me and the people i know it's not. And that my friends is all that matters.

Hey everybody! Just thought i'd kinda say what's up in our first blog!... a couple of things, we have three songs to download on our page FO FREE!, and two others from our EP "We'll all be ok" on our purevolume site www.purevolume.com/sleepatlantic . Just made our unsigned punk page! It's pretty tight! Anyway, we have a lot of good shows coming up at the end of this month going through February and March.
