What's up you guys?! It's officially Friday and I just wanted to fill you in on what's going on this weekend! Today, February 4th, is our Singer/Lead Guitarist Steve's 21st birthday! So please show him some love and say happy birthday on our Facebook wall! http://www.facebook.com/par6band As for myself (Zack), I will be heading out to Oneonta tonight to see This Condition and my friends in STATE CHAMPS! If you're in the area, come out to see a killer show and hang with me! You can follow me on twitter for updates-@par6zack. On Saturday the band will be heading down to Schodack, NY to play at Maple Hill HS for a show benefiting The Invisible Children club. It's a great cause that we are honored to help support just by playing our music with a bunch of our friends. So again if you're in the area, Maple Hill High School in Schodack, NY just $5! Thanks everyone, and don't forget to pick up our EP "Don't Worry About It" on iTunes for just under $8!

Hey everybody,
Tomorrow I will be heading down to Minneapolis, MN to record more for my upcoming album, "Haunt Me Tonight." I'm pretty stoked, I was super pleased with how the first session in early December went, and I'm stoked to get more recorded for the album. I'll be updating from the studio if you keep up with me on my Facebook page!
Sincerely,
Scott R. Heidinger

Well i have some down time today, and i feel like now would be a good time to address some questions. i haven't been asked anything but why not answer some before i even get them. So going onto a help site i found some common question people may ask a band or Fucking awesome person much like myself in and interview. Maybe you might say this is dumb. well in that case i think you should shut your whore mouth. Yeah i like to pretend does that make me a bad guy. No! Your parents giving you a computer and cell phone before 18 makes them the bad guys. Cell phones cause cancer not so fucking awesome now huh dickhole? So without further ado my auto-interview
Tom: What's the name of your band? What's the origin of that name? Have you changed the band's name before?
Djtoukilla: The name of my Band Is WeLaugh@Love and to be honest i just kinda thought of it one day...i don't know how, but it just sounded right and with a move across the country i just felt a fresh start was in order since my last project Just Press Play!
Tom: Please list the Name, Age, School, and respective instrument of each band member. What genre of music do you consider your work to be?
DjToukilla: Well My stage name would be DjToukilla a nickname i got from my best friend and fellow musician Giacomo Tucker (The Devil In Love) but my real name is Tom Robinson. The nickname came from having the same name as a character out of the book To Kill A Mockingbird. I went to Forestville Central School back in New York and I am 22. I play Piano/Keytar and i am the bands singer/ Programmer. Yes, as of now it is a one man band but i am currently looking for a backup Vocalist and will be adding a live synth player.
Tom: Who are your major influences? How long have you all known each other?
Djtoukilla: Well i would have to say that Breathe Carolina and Watchout! Theirs Ghosts, really made me believe i could make music on my own. But bands like Silverstein, Underoath, and Senses Fail are really the bands who lit the fire inside me to become a musician. i actually have known myself about 19 years...i give a few years since i don't remember crawling around a whom or playing with Fischer-price toys
Tom: How did you meet? When did you form your band? What inspired you to make music together?
Djtoukilla: Well it was late and i was in a bed drunk as fuck with this girl...Stupid fucking question i think the answer would be a mirror Tom...What inspired me to become a musician was probably people saying i had a good voice. i used to sing in the car a lot. and when i was like 8 or 9 i used to make dance routines to Sugar Ray. but let's keep that one on the DL.
Tom: Are you currently on a record label? Are you a member of any music organizations?
DjToukilla: If I was on a record label don't you think i would be getting interviewed by someone better then an e-how guide and you? That's what i thought!! and by Organization you mean sponsors? Then no i have no sponsorships as of now but i have a few pending.
Tom: What can you tell me about your instruments? (i.e., Are you subject to brand loyalty or will you play with whatever's available? What made you choose the instruments you have now? Was it cost or was it a style/model/brand/color preference?
DjToukilla: Well for Programming i use a Dell Studio laptop with an External sound card and Behringer head phones with FL studios 9 with Nexus as a plug-in. i also use Reason 4, but only for drum sounds... and for live use i have an Alesis Micron limited edition that i converted into a Keytar. I chose the alesis 'cause i read some great reviews and it had normal sized keys unlike the Korgmicro that used mini keys. I'm a man i need big keys not little pussy keys that feels like a Wal-mart kids toy.
Tom: Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?
DjToukilla: Well as of now WL@L has not had a show but we are looking to play out soon. But as JPP! i performed all over in Buffalo, NY. My least favorite venue would have to be any kind of grad party. The people there don't wanna hear me yelling into a mic. they wanna hear Justin Bieber suck in his nut sack, and sound like a Chipmunk movie without the laughter.
Tom: Which songs do you perform most frequently? Do you ever play any covers? Do you have a set play list?
DjToukilla: I mix it up I have two sets i can perform one lighter well the other is heavier. But with all my shows i try to keep the fans surprised with whats gonna happen. So i try to throw in a song that makes you stay on your toes. I don't play covers anymore i feel like an unsigned band that plays a cover is just to desperate for attention. and i would rather them like my music then someone Else's just 'cause i put my own stink on it. One of the saddest things to see is a cover you did beating all of your songs in plays. You feel like a cheat.
Tom: Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs? Do you think these topics will change over time?
Djtoukilla: I write all of my music. I sit on my floor with a cup of tea and my headphones up as loud as they go for hours writing. The themes i write about are basically what has happened in my life or whats going on around me. i Express my emotions in a story. i Exaggerate in a lot of my songs to show the way people overly dramatize their lives. I also will use it to show something you may feel... to listen to a song and say "yeah i want to kill that stupid whore" is better then actually "killing that stupid whore." Unless your in Texas or a republican i feel like they wouldn't look down on killing a whore...
Tom: Could you briefly describe the music-making process? What are your rehearsals generally like? Do you have a set time each week in which you practice or are rehearsals more spontaneous?
DjToukilla: Well i normally practice as many times as i can in a week maybe twice or maybe fifteen times it all depend on what kind of a mood i am in. Normally they are spontaneous. But if i had other members i would do a set time each week listening to everyone cry i had plans on Thursday or my grandma needs me to make her soup gets old after awhile. I spend a lot of my time promoting myself and the music. If i put head phones on i can kinda sing along with all of my songs.
Tom: How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together? What has been your biggest challenge as a band? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
DjToukilla: My biggest Challenge was getting the FUCK out of Buffalo. The music scene is dead there and has little to no opportunities for music like mine. they stick to trends and most people are really narrow minded when it comes to music. It's a One trick town. Plus living 45 minutes away from the closest venue makes it tough to reach out to a fan. Overcoming it was hard, making a move away from all your friends and family is tough but in my eyes I had to do it. Also i had a little help. Can you put in a smiley face there? Please? I mean i don't ask for much, and who the fuck cares if this is a professional publication? Well Then go fuck yourself Tom. Asshole. I will take that water now and the sandwich. Cock.
Tom: What's your ultimate direction for your band? Are you seeking fame and fortune?
Djtoukilla: Well Tom to say that you didn't want fame or fortune would be a lie. The truth is everyone is looking for that "Fortune". Maybe not in the same way though. Maybe you play to make your parents say "wow look at our kid" or to have more friends, people that look up to you, have your voice heard, your ideas loved, or maybe you just want money. Whatever the reason if you obtain your goal and you are doing what you love i think you have found the best fortune of them all. The money and the fans are just a perk.
Tom: What advice do you have for people who want to form their own bands?
DjToukilla: Make sure to keep one person in charge. One person must be a leader who can "Grab the bull by it's horns" and make all the important decisions. Take in what everyone is saying. Don't just side with Henry 'cause you and him are BFF's. Always communicate and address the problems at hand don't pussyfoot around them. You will find out that you will hate your friends at times and at others love them. To make a band work is like making a marriage work it takes time and commitment and if it was a game of tug-o-war you need to make sure you are all on the same side and if you aren't then do what you can to make it that way.
Tom: How can fans-to-be gain access to your music? Do you have a website with sample songs or a demo CD?
DjToukilla: WL@L will be releasing an EP soon and i will be putting it on itunes for download.. It will contain 6 songs most of which found in the teaser and i will also be running a deal where if you promote me on Facebook you will get a song for free.
Tom: Is there anyone you'd like to acknowledge for offering financial or emotional support?Any last words?
DjToukilla: I would like to thank my mom for giving me the mouth of a sailor and my dad for fixing all my cars.My Grandma for telling me i was gonna be something special and always believing me. My friend Giacomo for showing me that if my girlfriend is a fucking bitch i probably shouldn't be with her and for playing children's card games with me. Keegan Johnston for helping me with everything and always being a great friend. James Nappo for being a brother to me. Henry Starzynski for just being Henry. My Girlfriend Kelsey Brady for giving me money for rent when i didn't have it and bringing me water and not being creeped out by me wanting to move for her and for her not hating me when i sit on the computer for hours promoting. The List goes on but i would rather me not sound like a complete loser. Lastly i need to Thank everyone that has liked and suggested even listened to my music. It's thanks to you that i can do what i love and hopefully someday i will get somewhere, and when i do. Make sure to give yourself a pat on the back. You made someones dreams come true!
