What an awesome weekend! We played 2 new venues in 2 new towns and met a whole boat load of awesome people! Trax in Jamestown, ND and The Cattleman's Club in Lisbon, ND were incredibly fun! We look forward to playing at both places again soon! This upcoming weekend Skyline is back in Fargo at the Windbreak. For those who want to party, come out and party with us Friday and Saturday.

Time after time I encounter a person that just sticks in my memory like a piece of gum on my brain. Today i met a lady that will be in my head awhile. But I don’t know if it’s her ignorance, her tone of voice, the innocence, or the conviction? (It also could be the way she winked at my girlfriend…) Either way You or I look at it, this Lady has gave me one story to file in my memories as Hilarious. The story starts at the Cherry Creek Mall in Denver, CO.

After a long walk to a mall I or anyone else that has ever had to do manual labor or cook their own dinner doesn’t belongs in, we decide to go to a Rite Aid. One thing I expect in a Rite Aid is an old person who has no idea where the FUCK they are. So as me and Kelsey are checking out we see such a person walk in front of us. With a look of disorientation and a hunch worse then that bell tower guy in Notre Dame She opens a sale ad. Our Cashier being older and not able to move as quickly as a well oiled machine was going a little slower but i had patients. The lady with the sale ad looks up with a few items and says ” Can you call a second cashier?” With a smile on my face i just disregard her. The Cashier then asks to the older lady ” Do you need cigarettes?” The old lady reply’s looking toward me and Kelsey “I haven’t needed that for awhile!” with a wink and a half smile. At this point I am laughing and trying my hardest not to full on burst out making her feel bad. The Cashier then says ” well there are others in line so if you could go wait patiently i will get to you very soon”. The older lady then says ” What to wait 10 or 15 minutes? Just call another cashier.” We are now walking out and with only one person in line the lady cuts her and slams her stuff on the counter and all i hear is the cashier say ” ma’am there are others in line you must wait behind them.” I kept walking laughing.

But why would you act like this ever? Even having money or being elderly does not give you an excuse for being rude. How would that lady have felt if I out ran her to the counter and cut her in line? I just feel like people need to re-learn the GOLDEN RULE: Do on to others, as you would have done on to you. I was taught that when i was young and i stick to it.
